iPhone 4 ‘Bumpers’ Back on Apple Store Shelves?

iPhone 4 Bumper Cases

If you own an iPhone 4, but missed out on Apple’s free case program, you’re out of luck, muchacho. Yes, the free case program is over, but that doesn’t mean you’re a lost cause. You can still throw down some of your hard-earned cash for a case, right!? Right!

With that in mind, it’s worth noting that Apple ‘bumper’ cases are apparently making a re-emergence in Apple stores around the US. While not available online (well, not YET anyway), there have been many reports that bumpers are back on the shelves for anyone that wants to pick one up… For $29 a pop. All colors are available (from black to grey to green, blue, pink and orange), but keep in mind stores will probably have limited stock… So if you want to grab your color of choice, you best head into an Apple Store to check out the selection.

$29 is fairly cheap for an iPhone case… that said, $29 for a measly ‘bumper’ does sound like a little much for me. I’m the kind of guy that likes to tote my iPhone around ‘nude’. No, not ME, my iPhone. For some reason I’m hesitant to throw a case on the bad boy. What say you? Do you need a case, or is the iPhone 4 as-is just fine and dandy for you?
