Remember that Samsung Xcover B2710 which we said is coming to Sweden? Well Swedes won’t be the only one to get the rugged device as it’s been launched in Russia today where interested folks could grab it for 5,990 Rubles which is about $200.
In addition to Russia, the B2710 is also bound to hit UK where Orange vowed to pick it up, without (unfortunately) mentioning the release date (and price).
Specs wise, Samsung’s waterproof and dustproof baby comes with a 2-inch display, 3G (UMTS only) connectivity, 2-megapixel camera, A-GPS with digital compass and pre-installed Google Maps, social networking integration, music player, pedometer, FM radio, loudspeaker, large keypad, Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot. In a nutshell, we’re talking about a low-end handset that will most likely appeal to those working under tough conditions…
And we’ve still no idea when the Xcover B2710 will be available in the rest of the world.
