Samsung offers free games and apps to Wave 525, 533, 575 and 723 owners

As part of its efforts to promote the new Bada platform, Samsung is offering free games and apps to the new owners of the latest Bada smartphones, including the Wave 525, 533, 575 and 723.

Among the titles users can download without paying a dime, there are FIFA 10, Tetris Refresh, Spore Creatures, Assassin’s Creed II, DioDict French/English dictionary, Princess Magic Therapy e-book and SSkin theme series.

FIFA 10, Tetris Refresh and Spore Creatures will be free for the first 250,000, Assassin’s Creed for 300,000 downloads while the remaining apps will stay free for a “limited time” (no precise dates were given).

Unfortunately, the original Wave owners are not included in this promotion, though earlier they had the opportunity to grab EA’s Need For Speed: Shift for free. Moreover, Bruce Lee: Dragon Warrior was also offered as a free download (whereas iPhone users need to pay for it).

However, the question remains – does Bada have a future? We’re still kinda skeptical but love the way Samsung is promoting it. 😉
