Looking for Apple’s most popular apps for the iPhone and other iOS devices? When you pop into the iTunes store, you’ll see a new section called “Hall of Fame,” and in it you’ll find 50 popular and noteworthy apps like Angry Birds and Dragon Dictation. Apple says that two years since the app store’s release, it is “many apps wiser” and is now presenting the “best of the best.”
Now there’s something developers are even going to strive harder for — getting on this list. While many users and developers might argue the list (sort of like those “Top 100 Novels of All Time” lists), it’s pretty damn hard to pick just 50 out of hundreds of thousands of apps.
