A leaked internal document suggests the Dell Venue Pro will be available November 8th at Microsoft’s online and retail stores. After a week of exclusivity with Microsoft, the Windows Phone handset will go on sale at Dell starting on the 15th. The final pricing was not available but the handset will likely debut for $199 with a two-year customer agreement.
The Dell Venue Pro is a unique Windows Phone handset as it is the only Windows Phone that offers a front-facing QWERTY keyboard. The portrait slider features a 1GHz processor, 4.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass, 5-megapixel camera, and 8GB of internal storage. The Venue Pro is an interesting handset that should appeal to current BlackBerry users and other customers that prefer a physical QWERTY keyboard to a virtual, on-screen keyboard.
The Venue Pro will be available with support for T-Mobile-friendly 3G and will join the HTC HD7 on T-Mobile’s wireless network. Any T-Mobile customer interested in a portrait slider Venue Pro over the touchscreen-only HD7?
