Probably already the best wine application for the mobile devices, Cor.kz Wine Info, is getting better with the day — just like a product they promote, one would add.
The first thing included in the new release is the support for high resolution screens of the iPhone 4, new iPod Touch and the iPad. The second thing is wine comparison feature, which is awesome! To use it, simply select few wines and see them side by side, while accessing critics’ and community ratings, average retail pricing, regional and varietal data, and recommended drinking windows. You can do this with different wine types and brands, but also with a single wine to compare vintages — no longer will you have to wonder whether to pick up the 2005 or the 2006. Nice!
Even before this update, Cor.kz received tons of praise — VinTank/PalatePress named it a “Top 5 Wine App,” The New York Times’ Bob Tedeschi said it’s the best wine app, while Fast Company Magazine put it in its “25 Must Have Apps” list. In other words – it is worth 4 bucks! 🙂
