Dummy units of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 and Bold 9780 in white have started arriving at Rogers stores for those of you interested in colour rather than cold, hard technology. There were rumours over the summer that they might snag a white version of the Torch, and paired up with the white 9780, these two will be looking good for the holidays.
The 9800 initially launched on Rogers a few months ago, packing a 5 megapixel camera, 512 MB of RAM, 624 MHz processor, HVGA display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, and a new operating system with universal search, a WebKit browser, and a bunch of UI improvements. The BlackBerry 9780 is identical on all of those fronts, only it’s got a smaller screen, different form factor, and it just came out on Rogers yesterday.

Bell is also offering the 9780 in white, but it looks like at least in Canada Rogers might have the exclusive on the white Torch. Take a look at our BlackBerry Torch 9800 review if you’re thinking of nabbing the white version from Rogers. Hit up their online store if you want to grab the Bold for $149.99 or $229.99 on a three-year plan for the Torch.
