One must admit China is increasingly becoming an important player in pretty much every industry, mobile included. That prompted GSMA to launch a new Chinese-language edition of its popular Mobile Business Briefing news service.
Chinese edition will be published on a weekly basis and offered as a free service that covers global industry developments. The GSMA says it is aimed at the growing number of companies in the China region which are participating in and influencing the world’s mobile market.
The original Mobile Business Briefing was launched back in 2008, attracting nearly 35,000 “opt-in” subscribers thus far.
The GSMA has many member companies in China both among the handset makers and mobile operators. Moreover, this year Mobile Asia Congress is taking place in Hong Kong, China from November 17-18 — unfortunately, we won’t be able to attend. The Chinese-language edition of Mobile Business Briefing is set to “strengthen the range of services” the GSMA provides for the region…
