The good all “invisible hand of the market” never ceases to impress. Ok maybe there were “some” problems with the banks few years ago, but still – we get to buy better products at lower prices all the time.

That said, yesterday UK’s Dixons offered the Samsung Galaxy Tab for 479 GBP, the move which was quickly followed by Amazon. A day later, the price dropped for additional 10 GBP on both sites — that’s down from the original Tab’s price of 529 GBP!

Not all retailers like the new mini price war, though. The Carphone Warehouse now asks 489.99 GBP for the Tab, while Expansys is taking a “stubborn road” with its price of 549.99 GBP.

As you definitely know by now, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is an Android-powered tablet with a 7-inch 1024×600 pixels touchscreen, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, camera, Bluetooth, GPS, 16GB of internal memory that’s further expandable with microSD memory cards.
