You might love flying, or you may hate it, but apps like FlightTrack Pro might help ease the pain just a little. FlightTrack Pro lets you schedule and track flights on a map, and now it has a few new and helpful features, too. With the holidays coming up and travel, as usual, is expected to gain a moderate boost (despite those pesky TSA pat-downs), take a quick a look at what this app can do.
As Macworld reports:
Each flight you look up now has a variety of options associated with it; in addition to the older departure/arrival board, airport weather report, and FAA information, the app has added terminal maps, access to the airport’s full departures/arrival board (an in-app purchase of $4), a revamped graph of historical days, full flight schedule, and a seat map—so you know just how many inches of legroom you’re being squeezed into.
The app itself is a little pricey at $10, and add in the in-app purchases for additional features and it gets a little more less appealing. But if you find yourself traveling often and getting lost or confused as much as I do when my brain is frazzled from work and travel, it’s probably worth it.
