Sharp doesn’t want to miss India’s “rise to mobility” and is launching four new phones in the fast developing nation. The four models are Alice, Blink, Tango and Cyborg but unfortunately we don’t have all of their specs at the moment.
We do know Sharp has used some of its Japan-only phone designs for these four, pitching them towards the young. Feature wise, the phones announced comes in different shapes and sizes, with some of them rocking such things as a touchscreen, G-Sensor, shortcut to social networking services, LED illumination, Bluetooth, FM radio, dual SIM capabilities, easy camera shot and so on.
Of course, we don’t expect all the high-end features Japanese models have as those would make Indian devices too expensive. However, with the components prices going down all the time, we do hope these are solid mid-range phones that will definitely find its audience among Sharp’s targeted market. As soon as we hear something new, we’ll talk about it. Stay tuned…
