Apple’s highly anticipated iOS 4.2 update is landing in November but the actual release date is a moving target. In the recent weeks, iOS 4.2 was rumored for launch on November 12th, November 16th, and November 24th. Another rumored launch date comes courtesy of a tweet from 9to5Mac which hints that the 4.2 update will land at 1PM ET today.
The popular Mac blog does not elaborate on the source of its information but they are a respectable blog and would not post this information unless they had some confidence in their source. Of course, they could always be incorrect but the clock is ticking on November and today is as good of a day as any for iOS 4.2 to debut.
Anyone else going to be at their computer around 1PM ET looking for any traces of the 4.2 update? I, for one, will be anxiously looking for it as I can not wait for quick-switching and AirPlay to land on my iPad.
