Gameloft Releases New Artwork and Storyline for N.O.V.A. 2

Hold tight N.O.V.A. fans as Gameloft has finally revealed some new art and storyline details for its upcoming sequel, N.O.V.A. 2. The last we heard about N.O.V.A. 2 was its gameplay reveal trailer a couple of months ago, which looked pretty sweet.

N.O.V.A. 2 takes place six years after the events of the original N.O.V.A. where Kal Wardin was given the task of investigating an attacked Colonel Administration ship, to which he had to fight off a number of aggressive alien invaders. In N.O.V.A. 2, a civil war has broken out between the central government of the Terran Orbitals and a new mysterious organization called the Human-Alien Alliance.

Kal Wardin left N.O.V.A. years ago and now resides among villagers of a colony found on the desert planet of Scorpius. Things may seem peaceful at first, but seeing as how the Terran Orbitals are the central governing power over the colonies, you can bet that war is never too far behind. The Human-Alien Alliance promises a future where all of humanity’s problems are put to an end by using alien technology, but the Volterities are an alien race that are able to use mind control and telekinesis, which could very well be the reason why such an alliance exists.

Aside from the small glimpse into N.O.V.A. 2’s storyline, Gameloft also released some artwork for the game, which you can check out in the image gallery below this article.
