Swype for Symbian S60 5th edition phones gets a small update

Good news for the Swype lovin’ Nokia S60 5th Edition smartphone owners. The popular text input application has been updated and is now more stable than ever. This release comes with few important changes, including:

  • Several crashes have been resolved including those related to backspace
  • Spanish keyboard now properly displays national characters
  • Performance relating to auto-capitalization, auto-spacing and general application speed has been improved
  • There’s a new language selection dialog
  • Rotation no longer reverts Swype back to the default keyboard
  • Application size has been reduced by 1.5 MB
