Deal Alert: Motorola Droid Pro only $99 at Best Buy

Motorola’s Business focused Droid phone, the Droid Pro, has already received quite the discount courtesy of Best Buy Mobile.  No, it’s not a dollar, or free, but it is mail-in-rebate free, and only $99.

You won’t find this deal at Best Buy’s website, and will only be available in-store, so if you’re looking for the BlackBerry-like Droid Pro, put on those kicks and get going. With such a new handset discounted already, who knows how fast this thing will go. We suggest you go for it. Like, now.

The MotoBlur-toting handset focuses on business users primarily, but we’re sure that anyone who digs the form factor will be happy with the purchase. We’re not huge fans of MotoBlur, but there are tons of homescreen replacement applications you can install. That said, the DPro carries the toned-down version of Blur, similar to the Droid X and 2, so you won’t be pulling out that much hair when using it, as some parts of the skin are actually useful.

But functionality isn’t just software-deep. The DPro sports a 1GHz processor, the latest version of Android, Froyo, 5 megapixel with LED flash, and global roaming capabilities, allowing it to use voice and data in over 200 countries around the world. It’s a very nice addition to the Droid family, and even if you aren’t some big business guy or girl, you’ll probably enjoy the thing, but that may be discount talking, who knows.

So what are you waiting for? This is one of Motorola’s newest phones available, and you likely won’t be getting such a discount this great anytime soon.

Anyone who isn’t a business user thinking of getting this handset? If yes, what about this device appeals to you that you’d choose it over Verizon’s other options?
