After the dual-SIM capable Ch@t 322, Samsung unveiled another low-cost QWERTY candybar. Obviously aimed at heavy texters who don’t want to pay the “smartphone premium,” the S3350 aka Ch@t 335 can’t handle two SIM cards, but it’s more powerful than its younger brother on other fronts. Its features include WiFi connectivity, 2-megapixel camera, 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio and a microSD memory card slot. In terms of pre-installed software, there’s the push email capability, social networking integration (Facebook and Twitter) and access to Samsung Apps for accessing (and downloading) third-party apps.
In a nutshell, we think of the Ch@t 335 as a device that competes with the likes of Nokia C3.
As for the availability, the Samsung S3350 is set to hit the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg anytime soon, with other European markets to follow shortly. Then once Europe is covered, I would expect Samsung to introduce the phone in other parts of the world as well.
