The BlackBerry Bold 9780 is available across Canada, and T-Mobile launched their version just last week. AT&T should be following suit soon, as some video of a branded version of the refreshed Bold has popped up. This isn’t the first we’ve seen of such a device with AT&T branding, but it sure has been awhile.
The BlackBerry 9780 is an incremental upgrade on the previous Bold, the 9700. It bumps up the camera to 5 megapixels and includes 512 MB of application memory instead of just 256. It also comes running OS 6 out of the box, but the 9700 will picking that up at some point too. All of the rest of the specs are the same: Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, 2.4″ HVGA display, optical trackpad, and stellar physical QWERTY keyboard.
We’ll actually be putting up our review of the BlackBerry 9780 this afternoon, so stick around if you’re thinking of getting one. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s official on AT&T.
