Swype for Symbian beta is no longer an app for English-speaking Nokia touchscreen smartphone owners, only. Those speaking European French, German and Polish are now welcome to jump on board as well and type much faster on their smartphones.

Before installing a new language pack, make sure that the main Swype application is installed first and that the phone’s “Writing Language” fits with one of Swype’s supported languages. The Swype for Symbian team recommends that you set the phone’s “Writing Language” to English and then use Swype to change the language dictionary in use for writing…

And as always, Nokia wants your feedback so if you want to share your two cents please comment on their blog post.
