MotoBLUR 3.0 available for the Droid 2; Unofficially that is

Motorola Droid 2 owners may be jealously looking at their Droid 2 Global and Droid Pro comrades as they swipe through the fancier-lookin’ MotoBLUR 3.0 UI, but that’s soon to change. Actually, we’ve no idea when will MOTO launch a firmware update, but we do know it’s now possibly to run the latest version of MotoBLUR on the original Droid 2.

Of course, we’re talking about an unofficial way to do it, one that could kill your warranty, but hey – something’s gotta give. You don’t expect to get everything for free these days, don’t you? If you know what you’re doing (and please don’t hold IntoMobile liable), proceed to this page to get all the information on what to do next.

On the other hand, you may be in that “vanilla” group, who don’t like any third-party stuff running on top of their Android core. Google knows its stuff and if there were some additional interface needed, they would be the one releasing it, right? ;)

We’re always appreciating the choice…
