T-Mobile and LG announce the G-Slate 4G Honeycomb tablet

Android 3.0 Honeycomb

Looks like Verizon won’t be the only one kicking of CES 2011 with a 4G Honeycomb tablet. T-Mobile confirmed that it will be carrying the LG G-Slate, an HSPA+ tablet with Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Details on the tablet are sparse but we do know it will include all the goodies available in Android 3.0. This upcoming Honeycomb build is expected to include the new 3D-enabled Google Maps 5.0, Google Talk with video and voice chat, an HTML5 and Flash-enabled browser, access to millions of Google eBooks, a tablet-optimized version of Gmail, and an updated version of YouTube. Look for additional details on the hardware, pricing and availability to be made public soon.
