We’ve already seen the Samsung R910 few days ago, which was said to be the first LTE-enabled Android smartphone for MetroPCS. Now another device has been caught in the “depths of HowardForums” and it’s another Samsung-made product called Forte. But wait, as far as we know this could be the same phone as the R910. We can’t claim pretty much anything at this stage. The original poster at HowardForums did mention MetroPCS is working on two LTE devices, though not going into (so much needed) details.
Specs wise, the Forte will run Android 2.2, rock a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, 5-megapixel camera, Samsung’s TouchWIZ UI and of course a microSD memory card slot. In other words, it looks like a version of the Samsung Epic 4G (aka Galaxy S Pro) made for MetroPCS. As soon as we hear something new on this, you’ll be the first to know. Stay tuned…
