The Apple iOS 4.3 beta software was just released to developers and it looks like there’s already a jailbreak. Kind of.
If you have the Apple iOS 4.3 beta and the iPhone 4, you can head over here to get directions on how to use PwnageTool to jailbreak it. Unfortunately, it looks like the procedure – which is only for advanced users anyways – isn’t working for everyone.
We are getting mixed reports on this. After personally trying it out, and with some explanation from iH8sn0w, it seems like some patches in the bundle are broken, which might cause you to get an error while restoring the custom firmware in iTunes.
I’m not really sure why you’d want to jailbreak Apple iOS 4.3 right now but it looks like you have a way. I’d be very careful about it though, as the problems sound pretty nasty and I’d imagine a more stable solution will be coming in a few, short weeks.
If you use this method, feel free to let us know how it works for you in the comments.
