It was 3 weeks ago when we talked about Maxthon Mobile web browser for Android. It has been updated in the meantime to take “desktop and mobile convergence one step further.”
The new main thing of this release is the ability to sync bookmarks and browser settings between Maxthon installed on your PC and its mobile counterpart. In order to do so, you should register for the Maxthon Passport service, which is available free of charge and can be accessed from passport.maxthon.com.
In addition, the new version of Maxthon Mobile also comes with expanded RSS subscription and management options which make it easy to find, subscribe and view your favorite RSS feeds…
All in all, if you’re not 100% happy with the default Android browser you may want to give Maxthon Mobile a shot. Alternatively, you may just want to experiment with multiple browsers running on your Android smartphone. Either way, you can grab Maxthon Mobile from Android Market for free.
