The Verizon iPhone 4 is going to be here very soon, and those of you who are existing customers get to stake your claim before the masses rush in. When the Verizon iPhone 4 was announced a few weeks ago in NYC, we were told that on February 3, current customers would have the option to pre-order the smartphone. Everyone else, namely the masses flocking in from AT&T, has to wait until February 10.
As noted in the image above, the pre-orders start on February 3, 2011 at 3 AM Eastern time. For us east-coasters, we’ll have to set an alarm or stay up a little later than usual. You west coast kids get to hop on at midnight and pre-order your savior phones straight from Verizon.
Worried that you’ll forget? Verizon has you covered with links that allow you to set up a notification via Google Calendar, iCal or your Outlook Calendar. Impressive. Verizon seems to have been really prepared for this, so hopefully we won’t have the system outage issues that AT&T had with the iPhone 4 pre-orders. Let’s also hope that Big Red’s network is ready as it claims it is.
So, who got their invites and who’s ready to pick one of these up already?
