Hockey fans with an iPhone in-tow, take note. One of my absolute favorite sports news and scoring apps (ScoreMobile) has been updated with some killer new features with the hockey junkie in mind.
New to the ScoreMobile app for iPhone (as of today!) is support for hockey push alerts. All you have to do is update the app, then pop it open and subscribe to receive notifications for any game or team of your choice. Very cool. You can be notified on game start and end times, the score at the end of each period, and much more.
ScoreMobile does note that there’s more to come (of course), but I really like this development. For a guy that plays the game and follows the NHL quite closely, it’ll be great to get push notifications for teams and games of my choosing.
