Skype has once again updated its iPhone app to allow users to video-call their buddies on Skype-compatible TVs. Unfortunately that includes only a limited number of TV sets, namely select (and pricey) models made by LG, Panasonic and Samsung. Of course, there’s also an option to buy a camera and connect it to some Internet-capable TVs to keep up with your on-the-go iFriends.
The new feature is made possible thanks to the use of H.264 codec which works across platforms.
In the other news, Skype acknowledged their app will work on Verizon’s iPhone 4 just as well it did with AT&T’s version…
