One would think that iPhone and iPod Touch users really, and I mean *really*, care about their looks. There could be something about it, but I’m not 100% convinced. I guess they do care more than folks with other smartphones when we have so many fitness apps available for download. Nike has its own offering, then there’s RunKeeper and Outfront to name the few.

Now another contender is joining the party. It’s called SporTracker and similarly to the apps mentioned above, it also allows users to keep up with their sport activities by tracking and analyzing their body parameters. It is said that the application provides users with the “smoothest experience” in five sport activity types — including running, walking, cycling, wind surfing and kayaking. Using the built-in GPS and motion sensors, SporTracker checks user’s location and measures the progress in real time by showing parameters according to the chosen activity type. Users are able to track speed, distance, cadence, height, climbing rate, time and more. The activities can be broadcasted as LiveTrack Session on SporTracker website and shared via Facebook and/or Twitter…
