Samsung made the Galaxy S II official today at Mobile World Congress. The next generation Galaxy S handset will include Samsung’s dual-core Orion processor, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080P video recording, HSPA+ connectivity, and all the bells and whistles present on a high-end handset. Samsung continues it streak with AMOLED displays by including a 4.27-inch Super AMOLED Plus display on the Galaxy S II. The smartphone will be powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread with TouchWiz 4.0 and is housed in an incredibly thin package that measures a mere 8.49 mm.
