Sony Ericsson announced the Xperia Pro, a side slider that features a 3.7-inch display with a 854 x 480 display and Sony’s mobile Bravia engine. The Xperia Pro is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Sony’s Timescape interface. Consistent with other high-end smartphones, the Xperia Pro includes an 8-megapixel Exmor camera module with HD recording, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, HDMI out, Bluetooth, WiFi, and an FM Radio. The Xperia Pro will be available in Black, Red and Silver starting in late Q2 2011.
