doubleTwist is an iTunes-like syncing program for Android, and we’ve seen the software go from a small program not many people have heard of to the go-to Android syncing solution. DoubleTwist is getting even better now with the ability to stream your Android phone’s media right to your PS3 and Xbox 360 thanks to a new feature, called AirTwist.
Those who have purchased the doubleTwist AirSync application will receive a free update for this new feature. Just like other DLNA applications, once you launch the application you’ll see it pop up on your console, and from there you can browse and play your media from your handset to your TV, given you have an Xbox or PS3. This isn’t necessarily new, as we’ve played around with Skifta for a while and liked it. However, doubleTwist is adding this feature into their already-popular program, so it may be more appealing to users.
Future updates to AirTwist will enable more DLNA devices for such streaming. Setup should be relatively painless, as you’ll be able to share your content as soon as you are connected to the same WiFi connection. Get ready to share your videos, pictures, and music right to your TV with AirTwist. Who’s game?
