Urban Airship used the Mobile World Congress to launch two new tools for mobile marketers. First comes Urban Airship Push Composer, which is said to offer a “clean, simple, web-based dashboard” from where marketers can craft, configure and activate mobile messaging campaigns via in-app push notifications in real-time across multiple mobile platforms.
The second tool is called Urban Airship Reports, which provides quantitative data on user behavior with apps, and by extension, user connection to the brands behind the apps. As a result of using such a solution, marketers get relevant insight they can leverage to enhance the value of their mobile app campaigns.
In addition, Urban Airship has also recently opened a beta program for Android in-app purchases, allowing developers to sell content directly from within their applications. This service is the cornerstone of the company’s Subscriptions product that provides the infrastructure to deliver the subscription content to multiple devices, a recovery flow for previously purchased content, tracking of subscription expirations, and a method for reminding customers about renewals via push notifications.
Additional information on Urban Airship’s services and solutions is available from their website.
