Apple sends out invites to iPad 2 event for March 2

Apple isn’t going about this event invite the way it did with the original iPad launch with splattered art work and vague remarks. Nope. This time it’s plain and simple: there is an iPad peeking out from the invite, and a huge, prominent number “2″ right on the invite for both the date of the event and the model of the iPad.

In just one week, every rumor and spec we heard about the iPad 2 will either be confirmed or, more likely, debunked by this time next week. Will it be thinner? Lighter? Will Apple introduce two models – a 7-inch and 10-inch? What about the screen resolutions? Front and rear facing cameras? The anticipation is building up!

    i cant wait, even tho i know for certain it wont be the iPad everybody is waiting for with Retina Display, 1080p video cameras and stuff like that

    Yeah, I can’t wait either as I’m sick of the rumors. I’m sure it will be cool and we’ll finally know what all these other tablets are going to have to go up against.
