Samsung Galaxy Ace (SHW-M240S) has been officially unveiled in South Korea. Announced alongside the Galaxy Fit, Gio and Mini – the mid-range device comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, Android 2.2 Froyo, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, 1500mAh battery and a microSD memory expansion slot. In addition, the Korean version of the smartphone also rocks a T-DMB receiver, allowing its owners to enjoy TV while on the go.

Perhaps more interesting, Samsung is selling the Ace is two color versions – Onyx Black and Ceramic White, with latter looking really cool. The unfortunate thing is the price, which at 600,000 won (about $534) makes the purchase hard to justify considering that pretty much the same money buys Sammy’s other (and more powerful) device – Galaxy S. Not sure why this is the case. Go figure…
