Looking for some LTE love? Want Verizon’s HTC Thunderbolt but $250 seems too much for you? Amazon got you covered, offering the same device for $70 less – $180. Of course, a two-year contract is still required, but that’s like a given these days. The offer is good for both new activations and upgrades, which is cool.
It’s interesting that Amazon is offering this kind of a deal even though the Thunderbolt goes on sale today. Usually we get to see similar offers at least few weeks after the launch. Is Verizon in a hurry to get as many people as possible to its brand new LTE network or what?
Whatever the case is – it’s always good to have more (affordable) options.
