On top of the LG Optimus Black, A healthy bundle of Android phones are set to drop on T-Mobile UK. By the end of the month they’ll be launching the Samsung Galaxy Ace, which packs an 800 MHz processor, 5 megapixel camera, and HVGA display. In April both the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and HTC Desire S will be up for grabs. The Xperia Play is the long-awaited “PlayStation phone”, which will come with games custom-built for the device, while the Desire S runs Android 2.2 Gigerbread on a 1 GHz processor, and has a spacious 3.7-inch WVGA display. Finally, there’s the Motorola Atrix and its interesting (if questionably useful) laptop dock accessory.

We already knew the Xperia Play was coming to the UK, while O2′s availability of the Galaxy Ace and Orange’s announcement of the Atrix made them both likely candidates for other local carriers. The Desire S was announced with only European and Asian markets in mind, so I’m not sure if we’ll see it land on this side of the pond any time soon.
