Despite the fact that Nokia won’t give Symbian the attention it once has, there are still quite a few people digging the platform. Moreover, the same folks can’t wait to get their hands on the Nokia E7, which is definitely the single best product ever made by the Finnish company. I’ve had a few minutes to play with it and I can understand what’s all the fuss about it – the keyboard is awesome and the screen – fantastic, though I would love it be WVGA (as opposed to nHD – 630×360 pixels).
Anyway, if you’re in the mentioned group wanting to grab the E7 and you also happen to live in the UK, there’s another (aside from Three and Vodafone) option to do so. Telefónica-owned O2 listed the Symbian smartphone on its “Coming Soon” section, saying it will be released in May. We don’t know the exact launch date and the same goes for the price. However, I’m sure if you opt for some better (i.e. more expensive) plan, you’ll be able to grab the E7 for free, which [free] always sounds like a good deal…
