Ok we get it. Apple wants the trademark for “app store” and in that sense they’ve already contacted Microsoft and Amazon to change the name of their respective services. But that’s not all as now they’re going for a smaller guy – Seattle-based MiKandi.com, which described itself as the “world’s first adult app store.” Actually, due to the cease-and-desist letter received from the lawyers representing the Cupertino folks, they’ve changed the tagline to the “world’s first adult app market.”
Fighting other big boys like Microsoft and Amazon is ok, I guess, but going for MiKandi makes Apple an impotent bully. This isn’t the image you want for your company, right Steve?
