Adobe announced on Monday that it is launching a mobile version of Adobe TV. The mobile video service will let you watch Adobe’s training videos on your smartphone or tablet device. The web-based utility is accessible to iPads, iPhones, Android handsets and Android tablet owners. To check out the videos you need to point your browser to tv.adobe.com and the website will serve up video optimized for your device.
Interestingly enough, Adobe created these videos to support both Flash-enabled Android devices and non-Flash iOS devices. Adobe specifically address this issue in a brief statement that confirms it is not shunning its iPad and iPhone customers and will continue to deliver their “content to all platforms and devices that are meaningful to our audience.” Though Adobe would love to see Apple add Flash support to iOS, the company is apparently not holding any grudges against Apple and the bitter feud it fought with the Cupertino company last year over Adobe Flash.
