Although the iPad 2 has been available for quite some time now, that doesn’t mean everyone who wants it can get it. Quite the opposite is true, with many stores across the nation not having Apple’s tablet in stock.
Enter FindOne, an iPhone app made by D.L. Horton that queries various superstore databases to find iPad 2 product availability within the radius of a specified zip code. If you’re lucky (i.e. iPad 2 is found), the store phone and address are displayed, along with a list of all the iPad 2 product types currently available in that store. You can search for all iPad 2 versions, or just the one you want. In that sense, you can pick the carrier (AT&T, Verizon or Wi-Fi only), color (black or white) and the storage option (16, 32 or 64 gigs).
At the moment, FindOne checks the online inventory of Target and Walmart with Best Buy to be included in the near future.
