Last time we talked about the LG Optimus, it was heading to T-Mobile UK. Now another British carrier is joining the party – France Telecom’s owned Orange. We don’t have all the details at the moment, except that LG’s smartphone will be available at some point this month. Moreover, it is said that Orange will offer the Optimus Black free of charge to the users willing to commit on at least 18-month contract that includes mobile data.

You may remember that LG Optimus Black is a super-slim device with a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen (so called Nova display), 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with HD video recording capability, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, and TI’s 1GHz OMAP processor. Out of box, LG’s smartphone runs Android 2.2 Froyo but will be upgradable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

You can check out Orange’s Optimus Black from this page.
