Sony Ericsson announced its second Walkman-branded Android smartphone – WT18i. However, unlike the W8, this baby runs a special version of Android, OPhone, used by China Mobile. Yup, it’s a China-only device which most likely won’t be available elsewhere.

Speaking of OPhone, Sony Ericsson’s baby runs version 2.5 of the platform, which is said to be equivalent to Android 2.2 Froyo.

As for the specs, the WT18i comes with a 3.2-inch HVGA (320×480 pixels) capacitive touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera with VGA video recording capability, Wi-Fi, GPS, FM radio, 1200mAh battery, while Marvell’s 806MHz CPU provides all the power needed to run things smoothly.

Unfortunately, we have neither the release date nor pricing information. If we hear something new on that front, we’ll let you know. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
