As part of a plan to further enhance its brand, Samsung is offering a little treat for the Galaxy S (SC-02B) and Galaxy Tab (SC-01C) users in Japan. The company offers free Wi-Fi access for a limited period of time to 100,000 users who register for the so called Galaxy Pass. Using it [Galaxy Pass], users get to access NTT DoCoMo’s network of 4,000 Wi-Fi hotspots (except Tokyo Midtown) for up to 6 hours.
In order to take advantage of this offer, one should scan a barcode on this page and then follow instructions provided on the screen. It should be straightforward and I see no reason why anyone with the Galaxy S or Tab shouldn’t do it. It’s free after all. 😉
