Independent mobile ad network InMobi and Amobee, the end-to-end mobile advertising solutions and services provider, announced a 3-year, multi-million dollar partnership. According to the official press release this deal is a “clear sign of the massive growth occurring in the mobile advertising industry currently.”
As a result, Amobee’s portfolio of Fortune 500 brands will now have access to InMobi’s mobile ad network, which is capable of reaching over 300 million consumers across 200 countries worldwide. Together, the two companies will be able to deliver richer, more innovative campaigns, such as immersive 3D advertising, with a wider global reach.
In other words, this means you’ll see more ads popping around mobile web sites and apps. Not sure that’s good for the consumers, but what do I know.
Both parties seem pleased with the deal, with InMobi’s CEO Naveen Tewari commenting: “In combining forces, InMobi will now be able to offer Amobee’s clients greater ROI and reach.”
