Samsung Infuse 4G for AT&T now available for $199

We caught our first glimpse of the Samsung Infuse 4G with Android back at CES, but we were limited to looking-but-no-touching status. A little over a week ago, we finally got our hands on the device in NYC, and we came away relatively impressed. The device has a large and vivid 4.5-inch touchscreen, and it’s running Android 2.2 Froyo. The Infuse 4G is ridiculously thin at just 8.99mm, but it’s a powerhouse with a 1.2GHz processor and a battery that will get you through the day.

It’s now available on AT&T for $199.99 with a new, two-year contract or eligible upgrades. You’ll need a minimum $15/month data plan, which shouldn’t be an issue if you’re diving into another smartphone, and thankfully there are no pesky mail-in-rebates to deal with.

Check out our brief hands-on here, and be sure to stay tuned for our review coming shortly!
