The newly unveiled Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro is heading to O2 UK. The Telefónica-owned company pinned a June release date, without being too specific. Similarly, we’ve no idea how much the phone will cost, but it’s kinda safe to bet it will be available free of charge to customers who commit on a two-year contract of at least 20-25 GBP per month.

As a reminder, the new version of the Xperia Mini Pro comes with a 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera capable of recording 720p HD video, side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 3-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, and of course a microSD memory card slot. It runs Android 2.3 with Sony Ericsson’s custom UI singing on top of it.

All said, we’ve no doubts the Swedish-Japanese company will move quite a few Xperia Mini Pro units. Likewise, I would assume the phone’s keyboard-less sibling, Xperia Mini, will be just as successful…
