We’ve seen quite a few apps that provide users with the best bar and restaurant reviews. On the other hand, there is an increasing number of check-in services, which let you see where your friends are at any given moment. Combine the two and you get LoSo.
The new mobile application — at the moment available for iPhone — lets you see what’s going on right now at local bars and restaurants. It does its magic by scanning 200,000 Facebook and Twitter feeds of bars and restaurants, as well as users’ check-ins from Foursquare and Facebook Places to determine where the people are at any given moment and which place is offering an awesome deal. But that’s not all – you can also use the LoSo app to check-in to Foursquare and Facebook Places and let your friends know where you are at the moment. Similarly, you can invite other LoSo users to join the party.
In addition, there are so called Restaurant Rewards Points, which are good for free drinks, eats, prizes and other stuff from local businesses; and LoSo Loyalty Rewards for users frequenting the same place often…
