Another one (hurdle) bites to dust and HTC’s Evo 3D is now officially ready to be sold on the U.S. soil. The FCC tested all of the device’s radios — including CDMA, EV-DO, WiMAX, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi — and concluded it’s safe enough for the general public use. Now it’s Sprint’s turn to prepare the packaging, promo materials and educate its staff. As far as we know, the CDMA/WiMAX-based carrier will officially launch the Evo 3D on June 24th, making it the first company to offer a device with glasses-free 3D display. We’re sure its competitors will follow shortly, but for the time Sprint will be the darling of the mobile world. Hopefully, they (or HTC) will also manage to get some 3D content providers on board to make for an even better offering. Heck even without 3D content, the Evo 3D is a super-capable smartphone, rocking a dual-core processor, big qHD capacitive touchscreen, WiMAX and Wi-Fi connectivity and so on…
