Good news for all of you who grabbed the Asus Eee Pad Transformer in Europe. The Taiwanese company is rolling out Android 3.1 updates across the continent as we speak.
You know what that means right? Let me refresh your memory – this latest updated to the Honeycomb platform, introduced during Google’s annual I/O conference, brings many UI refinements, USB host mode support, expanded “Recent Apps” list, resizable widgets, and support for external input devices like a keyboard, mouse and gamepad.
The update is completely done over-the-air and it doesn’t require connecting the tablet to a computer. The process is simple – once the Transformer informs you about the update, simply follow the steps on the screen and let it do all the magic. Make sure you’re in a hotspot to make download faster, though. Also it’s a good practice to backup all your data prior to every update just in case something goes wrong.
