Canada’s Videotron is spicing-up its portfolio with two Symbian smartphones – Nokia C7 and E73.
The first of the two is a Symbian^3-powered device with a 3.5-inch nHD capacitive touchscreen, 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, 8GB of built-in storage that is further expandable with microSD cards. All this could be yours for $89.95 as long as you commit on a contract with monthly service fee of $40 or more. Alternatively, you can buy the C7 outright for $439.95.
The second device, Nokia E73, doesn’t sport a touchscreen, but a full QWERTY keyboard underneath a 2.4-inch QVGA display. In addition, it also comes with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, front-facing VGA camera for video calls, HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a powerful 1500mAh battery. It costs $49.95 on the same $40+ a month contract or $199.95 sans any commitments.
Not sure Canadians are all crazy about Symbian these days, but what do I know…
