Popular mobile messaging app HeyWire is expanding to Canada, offering iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users unlimited texting to Canada and to 45 countries — including the U.S., Mexico, China, and regions like the Caribbean, South and Central America — for only $1.99 per month. Included in the deal is a Canadian phone number that will allow users to keep up with their friends and family members even if they don’t have the HeyWire app running on their phones.

To get started, simply download HeyWire Canada (link below), register and purchase your Canadian phone number with unlimited texting for $1.99/month. After that, once per month you will be reminded to renew so you can keep using the service (and the number). It’s that easy! Moreover, it’s useful too, especially if you have good friends and/or family members living outside of Canada. An app like HeyWire could potentially save you a small fortune.

So what are you waiting for? ;)
